hey, I am sampi and my name is pronounced like this: /ˈʃʌmpi/.

I make music and I’m a software engineer but right now I am traveling solo in Japan.

I thought writing a blog about what I’m doing and where I’m going would be a good idea to feel like the readers are also taking part of this journey with me, sharing in whatever experiences I have. even though I am going alone I won’t be lonely.

I will be visiting Tokyo and Osaka and the nearby regions, and I will also be renting a small camper van to explore the northern half of Honshū (the main island of Japan), hopefully ending up at Tashirojima! wish me luck!
